During his youth career, Michael played under the Benfica Academy based in New Jersey. As he entering High School he played for Elizabeth High School whereas he was a 4-Year Varsity Player. At the conclusion of HS, Michael went to Portugal to continue his passion of becoming a professional soccer player. His talents secured a spot at a 3rd division team. Thereafter, Michael returned the States to pursue a career in coaching.
